Conditions of Hire

All bookings with Aviatricks are subject to the following terms

Making a Booking

To confirm any booking you are required to pay a deposit:

  • For all bookings, the deposit is 40% of the value of the job, payable as soon as possible to confirm the booking
  • If the booking is made less than two weeks before the date of the event, the deposit is 100% of the value of the job, i.e. full payment must be received in advance
  • Your booking date will be confirmed by email when your deposit is transferred and cleared into our bank account

Balance of Payment

Bookings of £150 and under

  • We require final payment by the day of the event
    • Either cash on the day, on our arrival at the event
    • Or a bank transfer or cheque, received to clear before the day of the event

Bookings of £151 and over

  • Terms for final payments are 14 calendar days on invoice

Late Payment

  • Final payments which are late automatically accrue a £25 (or 5%, whichever is the greater) late payment fee
  • You will be re-invoiced with the added fee. Payment terms for this invoice are payment due on receipt

Cancellation of Booking

In the event you cancel your booking:

  • Within four weeks before the event (i.e. after Saturday 9am before an engagement on the Saturday four weeks later): we will retain your deposit
  • Within two weeks of the event (i.e. after Saturday 9am before an engagement on the Saturday two weeks later): 100% of the whole payment for the job remains due

If, on the date of the engagement, the artists’ performance cannot go ahead through circumstances that are no fault of the artist themselves, then the whole payment must still be received in full. This includes the following circumstances:

  • Cancellation of the event on the day due to weather conditions
  • Cancellation of the event on the day due to venue closure
  • Cancellation of the event on the day due to event cancellation by the organisers
  • Injury of a performer through an unforeseeable accident at the event
  • Any other circumstance where the performer is present at the event but their services cannot be rendered through no fault of the artist themselves

In the event we cancel your booking due to circumstances beyond our control

  • Our liability shall be limited to the amount of any deposit or final payment you have made
